GILFORD — Since the abrupt end of Gunstock Mountain Resort's winter season in March, the team has been working to make changes throughout operations to protect skiers and riders from the risks of COVID-19.

Changes include an expanded tubing park, improved rental facilities, touchless payments, and a new reservation and online ordering system for food services. Gunstock has also expanded operating hours. The mountain plans to open Friday, Dec. 4.

Lift tickets need to be purchased in advance, online for Gunstock to manage daily capacity and minimize in-person transactions. Weekend hours are expanded to open at 8 a.m., night skiing sessions are available, and the mountain will be open Christmas Day.

Upon arrival, tune into Gunstock Radio for information and updates. Shuttle service will operate with capacity limits to allow for physical distancing. Family members and parties arriving together may sit together.

All public spaces in lodges have established capacity limits to allow for physical distancing, traffic control, and minimal exposure. Indoor traffic patterns have been modified to manage guest flow. A new lodge reservation system will help manage indoor capacity and help skiers and riders plan for their visit. Reservations will be required to enter the Stockade Lodge and the Main Lodge, including Cobble Mountain Food Court, the Powder Keg Pub, and the Pistol Pub.

Storage for personal items will not be available this season. Basket check, ski check and lockers will be closed to the public. Gunstock recommends guests boot up in their vehicles, and leave all personal items there. Brown bags, coolers, and food storage containers are not allowed in lodges. Guests who bring their lunch can eat at an outdoor dining area. A limited number of seasonal lockers are available by emailing

Reservations will be required for indoor dining in the Stockade and Main lodges. Physical distancing and face coverings will be required at all times, except when eating and drinking. Gunstock is expanding outdoor dining food options with take-out windows and food trucks.

Indoor restrooms will be open to the public, subject to capacity limits. Restroom services are expanded with additional portable toilets available in parking lots and the base area.

Lift lines will be managed to allow for physical distancing. Face coverings worn over the nose and mouth will be required in all lines and while loading, riding, and unloading. To maintain physical distance on chairlifts, only family members and parties who have traveled together will be seated together on a chair.

Advanced online reservations will be required for all ski and snowboard lessons and equipment rentals. Gunstock will offer adult, child, private, group and seasonal lessons. Physical distancing and face coverings will be required at all times during the lesson. Gunstock has expanded the rental shop to allow for capacity restraints, and all equipment will be disinfected between rentals.

The tubing park and mountain coaster will open this winter. Face coverings are required as is physical distancing. Tickets must be purchased in advance, online, prior to arrival.

Face coverings must be worn at all times over the nose and mouth when not eating, drinking, or actively skiing or riding. This includes lift lines, parking lots, restrooms and any other area where six feet of physical distancing cannot be maintained. Riders and skiers should maintain at least six feet of distance between themselves and others. Wash hands frequently and vigorously. There will be hand sanitizer available in lodge areas and restaurants. Anyone who is sick or experiencing new or unexplained symptoms of COVID-19 should contact a health care provider before leaving 永续合约交易所_永续合约怎么home.
